Allied forces blocked Seversk from three sides

The Russian armed forces, together with units of the republics of Donbass, blocked Seversk in the DPR from three sides. This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to Rodion Miroshnik, head of the LPR representative office in the Russian Federation.

According to him, at present, the allied artillery forces are destroying the main fortifications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“More there will definitely be a promotion, the question is – after some time, no one is in a hurry, they are not going to lose extra forces there,” Miroshnik said.

The city of Seversk is located 30 km west of Lisichansk, which was liberated in July.

Deputy head of the People's Militia Department of the DPR, Eduard Basurin, earlier announced the breakthrough of the defense line near the village of Vugledar with the support of the RF Armed Forces.

What kind of self-propelled guns “Phlox” began to be produced in Russia?

"Uralvagonzavod" plans to launch the production of new Phlox self-propelled artillery mounts. In the near future, state tests of these systems will be carried out, then the decision to adopt them for service will be made by the Russian Defense Ministry. It was previously planned that the production of these self-propelled guns would begin this year, but it was postponed. ” height=”533″ width=”800″ style=”display: block;” />

Base

The army truck “Ural-4320”, proven for decades, was chosen as the chassis for the new gun. increased permeability. The car received a powerful diesel engine YaMZ-536 310 l. With. The chassis was partially protected from mines, tests showed that it can withstand the explosion of two kilograms of TNT, this leads to the separation of the wheels, but the engine is completely preserved. And even an explosion of 5 kilograms of TNT will not lead to the death of the crew, which, of course, is the most important thing in a war. In addition, the car received good armor protection of the sixth class, which means invulnerability to shots from the Dragunov sniper rifle and armor-piercing incendiary bullets. True, the sides have only the fifth class of protection, and the motor-transmission has the third class thanks to the armor casing.

Armament

The gun is placed on a special movable platform, which is put forward, if necessary, directly in front of opening fire. Most likely, this feature is provided by the recoil support.

Like other samples of the flower series, “Phlox” shoots both artillery shells and mines. The installation moves the barrel in the range from -2 to + 80 degrees, thereby allowing you to hit targets along a hinged trajectory, direct fire, that is, to throw mines almost vertically, like a howitzer.

“Phlox” received a rifled gun 2A80 caliber 120 mm, the gun is located in the back of the car. The maximum distance for firing is 13 kilometers when using high-explosive fragmentation projectiles and three kilometers for guided projectiles. The rate of fire is 8-10 rounds per minute, which is very good for such a weapon.

The autoloader has 28 shots ready for use, and another 52 are in stock. Ready to fire time is 20 seconds, which ensures the highest mobility. Finally, on the roof there is a Kord heavy machine gun. — its caliber is 12.7 millimeters.

Technologies

The combat vehicle received a digital gun-computer system. In particular, it helps to receive and transmit data, process information, and prepare information received from various reconnaissance means for calculating parameters and corrections for firing. He is also able to adjust shooting depending on weather conditions, make adjustments after the first shot, and store information about targets in memory. This allows the ACS crew to quickly make adjustments depending on the situation on the battlefield. Automation also evaluates the performance of all weapon systems.

IT from five. How Udmurtia is turning into a digital region

Story National projects

Several years ago, a federal official, having arrived in the region, called the republic “neglected”. He did not like everything then: roads, facades of buildings, courtyards, playgrounds. However, in four years a lot has changed, and quite dramatically. Udmurtia has become one of the regions of Russia where 12 national projects are dynamically working, the republic is in the TOP-5 subjects in terms of the quality of the implementation of these projects.

Let's start with education

2022 the head of the Udmurt Republic Alexander Brechalovdeclared the Year of Education. In the region this year, thanks to the national project, it is planned to complete the construction of four schools, create 38 Point of Growth Centers; in rural areas, upgrade the material and technical base of two correctional schools, repair 25 sports halls. In addition, two more IT-Cube digital education centers will appear in Udmurtia. in Glazov and Sarapul.

The first of these centers appeared in Izhevsk at the end of 2020. It is located on the first floor of a modern residential complex. The developer has developed a modern design project for the premises and created the most excellent conditions for children and teachers. Now, in the academic year, 400 children study for free in thirteen promising areas of the IT industry. This includes Python programming, VR/AR application development, network and system administration, cyber hygiene, artificial intelligence, WEB development, Samsung IT school and much more.

“We teach more than a thousand schoolchildren every year. These are guys from 7 to 18 years old. More than 200 students of our center have become winners of all-Russian competitions and olympiads. This gives them the opportunity to enter any university in the country without exams. We also have groups for the little ones. Starting from the age of five, we introduce them to the world of IT», — says the director of the "IT-cube" Oksana Schelchkova.

In addition, according to the national project “Education” in Izhevsk, the regional educational center for gifted children “TAU” is successfully operating. Teachers help children to identify and develop talent in art, sports, natural sciences and technical creativity. More than four thousand children from all over the republic are annually involved in additional general developmental programs: chemistry and ecology, nanotechnology and bioengineering, 3D modeling and artificial intelligence.

«Smart Playgrounds» for residents of the entire microdistrict

Great attention is paid to sports and physical culture and health-improving activity in the region. According to the federal project «Sport — norm of life” national project “Demography” In Udmurtia, the long-awaited reconstruction of the Izhstal Ice Palace, which was built half a century ago, began. Over the past three years, 41 sites have been opened to comply with TRP standards, seven inter-school stadiums, two sports and recreation centers, a regional ski racing center in Sharkan, and sports equipment and supplies have been supplied. In addition, the authorities have reconstructed the stadium near School No. 42, the space of which will soon turn into a “smart playground”. Not only schoolchildren, but also residents from all over the microdistrict are engaged here.

«A football field with artificial turf, running tracks, a universal playground for playing sports, a zone for long jumps, hockey and workout grounds, collapsible stands — another modern sports and recreation complex appeared in Udmurtia, — says Alexander Brechalov.

“After the imposition of sanctions against our country, the President of Russia instructed to redirect part of the funds allocated for holding international competitions to sports infrastructure. Thanks to this, instead of one “smart platform” many regions received two or even three, — said Minister for Physical Culture and Sports of the Udmurt Republic Alexander Varshavsky. — There is free Wi-Fi on the site so that everyone can freely access the Internet. We plan to place QR codes on all simulators, through which you can get information on your smartphone how to use this or that simulator for beginners, amateurs, as well as advanced athletes. The site will be gamified to hold online competitions».

51 million rubles were allocated for the arrangement of the sports and recreation complex: 23 million from the federal and regional budgets, 28 — from the municipal budget. Photo: Marina Maslennikova

For everyone who wants to work — there is work

According to the national project “Demography” in 2021, modernized Employment Centers under the new federal brand “Work of Russia” were opened in Izhevsk and the Zavyalovsky district. This is a kind of personnel center, where vacancies are not just selected. Job seekers and employers are contacted by personal consultants who assess the situation of a person or company and offer specific solutions.

“In Udmurtia, 5.5 thousand unemployed are officially registered, while there are three times as many vacancies — 18 thousand. For everyone who wants to work — there is work!» — says Alexander Brechalov.

Since the beginning of 2022, more than 10,000 people have applied to the Employment Center in Izhevsk. 85% of people got a job.

Zelensky dismissed heads of SBU departments in three regions

The President changed the head of the Main Directorate of the SBU in Kyiv, transferring the former head of the department in the Lviv region there. His predecessor was dismissed without a new appointment yet width: 320px) and (-webkit-min-device-pixel-ratio: 2), (max-width: 320px) and (min-resolution: 192dpi)” >

Volodymyr Zelensky

President Volodymyr Zelensky signed decrees on the dismissal of two heads of regional departments of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU)— Lviv and Ternopil regions, as well as the head of the Main Department of the SBU in Kyiv and the Kyiv region.

At the same time, Artem Bondarenko, who was fired from the post of head of the SBU department in the Lviv region, was appointed head of the Main Department in Kyiv by a separate decree and Kyiv region.

At the end of May, the president fired the head of the SBU department in the Kharkiv region for failures in the first days of the Russian special operation. According to Zelensky, Roman Dudin did not work to protect the city, but “thought only of himself personally.” The official's motives will be investigated by law enforcement agencies, he added.

Then, in mid-July, Zelensky removed the head of the SBU, Ivan Bakanov, as well as Prosecutor General Irina Venediktova from office. The suspension was carried out in accordance with the norms of the Disciplinary Charter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on improper performance or non-performance of official duties, which entailed human casualties, other serious consequences or created a threat to the onset of such consequences. Later, the Rada dismissed Bakanov.

Explaining his decision, Zelensky pointed out that the number of criminal proceedings under articles of treason and collaboration of security forces amounted to 651. questions to the relevant managers. Each of these questions will receive a proper answer,»— he emphasized.

The layoffs in the power bloc of Ukraine did not end there: on July 25, it became known about the resignation of the first deputy head of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Ruslan Demchenko. The representative of Zelensky explained this by the state of health of the official. The Commander of the Special Operations Forces (MTR) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Grigory Galagan, was also fired.

Sergey Chemezov

At the moment, Russia has concluded contracts for defense exports worth 3 trillion rubles, deliveries have been made in more than half of the transactions, said the general director of the state corporation Rostec. Sergei Chemezov at the international military-technical forum “Army-2022”, RBC correspondent reports.

Chemezov noted that the order portfolio of Rosoboronexport (part of Rostec) remains stable, and export rates have not changed much compared to previous years. “The impact of a special military operation on supplies is not seen. Russia has been and remains a reliable partner in the field of MTC [military-technical cooperation] for friendly states,— he emphasized.

According to the head of Rostec, the bulk of the contracts are for aviation (about 40%) and air defense equipment (about a third). About 30% more are orders for armaments for the ground forces and the navy.

In May, the general director of Rosoboronexport Alexander Mikheev said that Russia is fulfilling its obligations on the supply of weapons, despite the difficulties with the calculations and the violation of supply chains. He assured that these problems will be resolved in the near future. Then Mikheev said that “Rosoboronexport” plans to deliver more than 200 helicopters to 24 countries by 2025, the amount of contracts exceeds $3 billion.

In the announcement of the international military-technical forum “Rosoboronexport” said that more than 70 delegations from 50 countries would attend the event. The company plans to present at the exhibition more than 200 samples of military equipment intended for export, including the Armata tank, Tiger armored vehicles; and “Bear”, unmanned systems “Orlan”, as well as Kalashnikov assault rifles in various variations and a high-precision rifle MTs-561.

Every fifth candidate for Moscow deputies turned out to be unemployed

In a month, elections of deputies will be held in Moscow. Every fifth candidate was unemployed. Managers, workers and civil servants are being actively promoted, while the share of young people has decreased. Who goes to the municipal candidates – in the material RBC : 320px) and (-webkit-min-device-pixel-ratio: 2), (max-width: 320px) and (min-resolution: 192dpi)” >

In autumn, elections will be held in the capital in 125 out of 146 districts. A total of 1,417 municipal deputies will be elected. According to Dmitry Reut, deputy head of the Moscow City Electoral Committee, a total of 6,259 people were registered, but this number may change slightly: some candidates are challenging the refusals in court, and new cancellations of registration are possible.

Who decided to run for the Mundeps, what is the average age of the candidate and which party put up the most unemployed— RBC analyzed the statistics of election commissions on registered candidates.

Less young

The average age of a registered candidate for the Moscow Mundeps was 42 years. In terms of parties, the most age candidates were nominated by United Russia, where the average age compared to the general one increased by seven years and amounted to 49 years. The youngest contenders-United Russia— 22 years old (there are five such candidates). At the same time, they are still older than competitors from other parties and associations: in A Just Russia— For the truth” the age of candidates starts from 19 years old, in the rest— dated 18.

In second place in terms of average age are the parliamentary Communist Party of the Russian Federation and A Just Russia— For the truth»— 43 years. The youngest party in this parameter— “New people” with candidates aged 36.

Compared to the previous municipal elections, the number of young candidates up to 35 years of age has decreased— 33.3% of the total number of registered. In 2017, this figure was 36.8%, which is almost 750 candidates more than the current one. Among self-nominees, the number of candidates under 35 years of age— 43%.

Earlier, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and the Liberal Democratic Party noted that during the selection they gave priority to more experienced candidates with party experience. Municipal Campaign Coordinator “New People” in Moscow, Anna Trofimenko told RBC that there are young people on the party list— “yesterday's and even today's students”, because they are “free from prejudices and patterns, they have a lot of energy and desire to achieve real change.” Chairman of the Moscow branch of «SR» Dmitry Gusev noted that the party did not set the age of candidates as a criterion, the main thing is that the candidates share the program and the memorandum.

The average age of a candidate is close to the average age of a Muscovite, so the age of the candidates— “the balance of youth and experience,” says political scientist Konstantin Kalachev. In his opinion, the decrease in the number of candidates to 35 years old compared to the previous elections can be explained by the disappointment of young people in politics, as well as emigration after the start of a special operation in Ukraine. “The percentage of young people is still quite large. It is not necessary to say that without young people: a significant part still continues to participate in the political process, — he told RBC.

According to sociological studies, people imagine the ideal mundep as an experienced person who can solve their problems, and a young person does not fit into this picture, they vote worse for young people, political scientist Alexander Asafov noted in a conversation with RBC. Therefore, when compiling lists, parties can focus on this factor, he added. “In general, I don’t see age distortions in the general stream, there are young people,” — concluded the political scientist.

Almost all candidates for municipal deputies received higher education (70%). There are significantly fewer of those who, when submitting documents to the election commissions, indicated secondary vocational education (10%) and secondary education (0.6%). The remaining candidates left the column with education empty.

Unemployed, civil servants, state employees and cleaners< /p>

Almost every fifth of the registered candidates for the mundeps— unemployed. Most of them are among self-nominated— 31% of their total number. Nevertheless, a sufficient number of those who indicated “temporarily not working” in the column, and among the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (21% of the communists), the Liberal Democratic Party (21%) and A Just Russia— For the truth” (fourteen%). At “United Russia” the share of the unemployed was 1%.

The share of the unemployed increased compared to 2017: there were about 12% of such candidates in the last elections.

The high proportion of unemployed in the Liberal Democratic Party is explained by the shortcomings of official wording: the documents do not take into account volunteer assistants, volunteers, party activists, State Duma Vice Speaker Boris Chernyshov told RBC. “Claims to the wording. Let our candidates have no place where their work book is, but they are actively engaged in social activities, & mdash; he noted, adding that the Liberal Democratic Party made a bet on the district party activists.

The head of the Moscow city committee, Nikolai Zubrilin, noted that the candidates— “ordinary people with their own concerns, who may just as well be temporarily unemployed and looking for work.” According to him, this, in particular, allows them to understand the problems and solve them together with the voters. “Can’t, for example, a mother of three children who takes care of them and is not employed become a municipal deputy? Maybe. By the way, she knows better than anyone else what the children of her district need, — agrees the chairman of the Moscow branch of «SR» Dmitry Gusev.

The reason for the large number of unemployed may lie in the “legal incident”: someone is in the gray zone or has occasional employment and indicates the status of “temporarily out of work”; due to difficulties in proving income, someone works in the creative field, which has its own peculiarities of employment, political scientist Alexander Asafov believes. Among other reasons, in his opinion, & mdash; possible risks due to participation in elections at work or reluctance to indicate a profession that “does not look good on the ballot”.

Among the employed, the most numerous group were managers— candidates holding managerial positions in business structures. In particular, these are directors of companies, heads of departments or their deputies.

Small and medium-sized businesses in recent years have begun to play a more active role in the public life of society, especially in Moscow, where the role of services is very large, political scientist Kalachev noted in an interview with RBC. “This suggests that independent, mature people who know what they want go into politics. In many ways, they are focused on improvement issues: it is important for owners of cafes and restaurants, for example, to know about the state of the infrastructure, — he added. According to Alexander Asafov, the entry “manager” in the work book at the moment one of the most common, so it is logical that they are also the majority among the candidates.

The second largest number was hired workers, which included ordinary employees of enterprises. Most of them— representatives of working specialties: turners, assemblers, assistant machinists, machine operators, janitors, couriers and others. In particular, 12 cleaners, 55 drivers of various categories, 16 locksmiths and 18 cashiers are running for municipal deputies.

Traditionally, a large block of candidates is made up of those working in the public sector (almost 12%) and state employees (8%)— health, education and social workers. A significant part of them, as stated, are running for United Russia. and public association «My area» (with the program of the same name in 2018, mayor Sergei Sobyanin went to the polls). Thus, these two categories account for 66% of all registered United Russia candidates and about 60% of My District. Among the candidates are just over 60 school directors and their deputies, many heads of departments in hospitals. The lowest share of state employees— among self-nominated candidates (2.4%), the Liberal Democratic Party has the same percentage.

“United Russia” conducts the selection of candidates for elections by open preliminary voting, which does not provide for age restrictions or prohibitions on professional affiliation, Irina Yeliferova, deputy head of the executive committee, told RBC. At the same time, it is logical, she added, that more experienced candidates, established professionals (including those in healthcare, leaders of public opinion “choose United Russia” for the nomination, as the political force that enjoys the greatest confidence in Russia).< /p>

Among the “New People” a large proportion of managers and self-employed. “We have relied on people who, on the one hand, do not depend on the executive branch, and on the other” can conduct a constructive dialogue with the authorities on behalf of the residents of the district, — explained coordinator Anna Trofimenko.

The emphasis on officials and state employees in municipal elections is traditional for United Russia; and is an effective “working mechanism,” says Konstantin Kalachev. According to him, this year there are many women among state employees who are involved in solving social problems. “Such people have a base of support, their own electorate, it is easier for them to work with pensioners. In addition, municipal elections— a story about usefulness and care. They are used to asking for help, and this is a win-win option in terms of electability, — the political scientist said. Civil servants, in turn, guarantee loyalty and manageability, which is important on the eve of the mayoral elections in Moscow.

Among other professions popular with candidates— engineer, lawyer, economist and media worker (journalist, editor or producer). 9% of all registered candidates are self-employed, the same number— for pensioners. A little less (7%) were students, the smallest (4%) were social activists and politicians.

Candidates in all districts

259 candidates for the Mundeps used the tactic of nomination in several districts at once. Of these, about half, 119 people, were registered in two or more districts. Absolute champions— self-nominated Yana Tomilova and Vyacheslav Krotov, who were registered in 11 constituencies. Two candidates each received registration in five and four constituencies at once.

Candidates who register for municipal elections in several districts of the capital do not violate the law, Dmitry Reut, deputy chairman of the Moscow City Electoral Committee, said earlier.

Such tactics are a new trend, Kalachev believes. According to him, those who were not sure of registration were applied in several districts at once, this served as “additional insurance.” “We have enough people who believe that in municipal elections, like in a casino, anything can happen: by filing in all districts, they are going for broke,” — he concluded.

The American company Apple demanded that Rutube hide the materials of Russian state media in the iOS application, RBC was told in the press service of the video hosting.

Apple proposed two ways to solve the problem. First— is to remove state-sponsored media content and the second— make the application available only for Russian users.

Schools in the border areas of the Belgorod region will go remote

Schools in nine districts of the Belgorod region bordering Ukraine will begin the new academic year in a remote format, there will be no festive lines. Authorities have previously said that these schools will temporarily close

Schools in nine districts of the Belgorod region, which are located in a five-kilometer border zone, will switch to a remote format in the new academic year, the press service of the regional government reports on Telegram.

We are talking about Krasnoyaruzhsky, Belgorod, Borisov, Rovensky, Veydelevsky and Volokonovsky districts, as well as Graivoronsky, Shebekinsky and Valuysky urban districts— they border on the Sumy and Kharkiv regions of Ukraine. Schools located there will not hold holiday celebrations.

The regional government said that, if necessary, the authorities will consider the possibility of giving children a ride to other schools that are located further from the border. Groups on duty will work in kindergartens.

Belgorod Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov approved the working hours of educational institutions during a meeting of the regional anti-terrorist commission. “I ask all government officials whose responsibilities include monitoring the safety of children to focus as much as possible on the prevention of possible risks,” — quoted by his press service.

In early August, Gladkov said that the regional authorities decided to temporarily close schools and kindergartens in five regions bordering Ukraine due to security requirements and transfer students to other educational institutions. The government of the Belgorod region reported that 21 schools and five kindergartens operate in these municipalities. There are more than 2 thousand students in schools, in kindergartens— 111 pupils.

After the start of the Russian military operation in Ukraine on February 24, regional authorities regularly report cases of shelling of settlements. An increased level of terrorist threat was introduced in the region from April 11, it was extended until August 22.

The CEC explained the presence in the portal code of links to dating sites and casinos

Links to “doubtful sites” are needed to identify users of the portal, the press service of the CEC reported. The Central Election Commission uses the system to exclude captcha for “legitimate users”, the commission emphasized media=”(max-width: 320px) and (-webkit-min-device-pixel-ratio: 2), (max-width: 320px) and (min-resolution: 192dpi)” >

< img class="aligncenter" src="https://s0.rbk.ru/v6_top_pics/media/img/3/71/756605677599713.jpg" alt="The CEC explained the presence of links to dating sites and casinos in the portal code"/>

On the portal of the CEC of Russia in the section “Election Calendar” uses the FingerpringJS open source library, which has a user definition function. It is used “to exclude a CAPTCHA (test to detect robots.— РБК) request from “legitimate users”. This was reported by the press service of the Central Election Commission in response to a request from RBC.

“The library code contains the addresses of a number of “doubtful” Internet resources. They are used to determine whether the user's browser is using ad blocking tools. The transition to these resources, downloading any data from them or transferring user data to them is in no case carried out,— told the press service of the CEC.

Previously, the analyst of “Voice” (the movement is included in the register of foreign agents) Ivan Shukshin discovered in the code of the websites of the Central Election Commission and regional election commissions with election results the built-in FingerpringJS library, which makes up the “fingerprint” user. To identify the user, the CEC websites use advertisements— links to dating sites, online casinos, etc., & mdash; and then monitor the actions of the ad blocker, Shukshin argued. Such links are not externally visible to the user, they are in the site code, the programmer explained.

The press service of the CEC noted that the use of the FingerpringJS library does not mean the introduction of an “advanced” user profiling system. versions— Fingerpring PRO. The latter is hosted on the «Internet resources of unfriendly countries— US and EU, involves the transfer of data to these user data resources,” the Central Election Commission explained. They added that they use solutions that work exclusively with the portal's security system without transferring user data to “other third-party resources”.

The main advantage of FingerPrintJS— this is a free library, the director of ANO “Information Culture” told RBC Ivan Begtin. According to him, it is mainly used to protect corporate secrets that are online, — Government websites usually don't use it.

“There are many other ways that government agencies use to keep track of who is interested in their data. For example, they often require authorization through public services. But in view of the fact that the CEC formally has to give everything in an open mode, they do not use authorization, but come up with tricks like this, claiming that this is how they protect themselves from bots. But this is slyness, — Begtin told RBC. In his opinion, this hinders independent analysis of the election results and civilian control over them.

For the first time, the CEC began using captcha in 2020. The commission was forced to introduce a mechanism to limit the massive automated download of data from the portal using bot programs— such downloading led to abnormal loads on the portal, the press service of the Central Election Commission explained.

Electoral experts asked the head of the Central Election Commission, Ella Pamfilova, to stop using technology on the commission's website, which greatly complicated the work with the resource. According to their calculations, to analyze data throughout Russia, you need to pass the CAPTCHA test about 100 thousand times, spending about 30 million seconds on it, that is, almost a year. At the end of September 2020, the head of the CEC, Ella Pamfilova, stated that the CEC was minimizing the use of captcha on the site.

Putin said that the Russian military “step by step liberate Donbass”

Putin spoke about the course of the special operation and Russia's allies “not bending under the hegemons” source srcset=”https://s0.rbk.ru/v6_top_pics/resized/673xH/media/img/0/30/756605681445300.jpg 673w” media=”(max-width: 320px) and (-webkit-min- device-pixel-ratio: 2), (max-width: 320px) and (min-resolution: 192dpi)” >

Vladimir Putin

In the course of the special operation in Ukraine, the Russian military “clearly carry out the assigned tasks, step by step liberate the land of Donbass,” President Vladimir Putin said at the opening of the Army-2022 forum. RBC broadcast the event.

The President stated that the Russian army and navy “at all times have reliably stood guard over the sovereignty and security of the Motherland.” “And today, our soldiers, together with the fighters of Donbass, are honorably fulfilling their duty, fighting for Russia, for peaceful life in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics,” — he continued.

The President thanked Russian manufacturers for weapons that “work for victory, for the technological and industrial development of the whole country, all of Russia.” According to him, weapons models “are ahead of their foreign counterparts for years, maybe even decades, and in terms of tactical and technical characteristics they are significantly superior.”

He also said that Russia is ready to provide samples of weapons— from armored vehicles to aviation and drones— to their allies and partners. According to Putin, the country has many allies on different continents who “do not bend before the so-called hegemon.”

«Complete liberation of Donbass»— one of the main goals by which the Russian authorities justified the start of the military operation in Ukraine on February 24. Putin also named among its tasks “demilitarization”; and “denazification” neighboring country and security guarantees for Russia. According to the president, threats came from Kyiv, which concerned, among other things, Ukraine's entry into NATO and the possibility of the country obtaining weapons, the purpose of which, “of course, would be Russia.”

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, in turn, said at the end of July that Russia would “help” the Ukrainian people to get rid of the “absolutely anti-national and anti-historical regime.” At the same time, he said earlier that Moscow does not intend to seek a change of power in Ukraine. The Minister also pointed to the expansion of “geographical tasks” Russian military in connection with the supply of Western weapons to Ukraine— according to him, now it is “not only the DPR and LPR”, but the Kherson, Zaporozhye regions and other territories.

British media predicted a “stab in the back” from the West to Ukraine in winter

The situation is influenced by rising prices.

The West may “stab Ukraine” in the back”.

According to journalist Simon Tisdall, this could happen as early as this winter due to rising energy and food prices.

He wrote about this in an article for the British edition of The Guardian.

According to him, now the society is outraged by the situation in Ukraine, but such feelings as anxiety and panic due to rising prices follow.

“Now there is an uncomfortable, even troubling question: should Ukrainians prepare for a backstab this winter?” – the journalist is interested.

He emphasizes that because of rising prices there are doubts about the resilience of the West.

The columnist also criticized the statement of British Foreign Minister Liz Truss, who said that that the Russian Federation should withdraw from Crimea to the borders before 2014.

He called Truss a “crazy generalissimo”, pointing to her words about pushing Russia back.

“Who “we”? You and whose army?” – Simon Tisdall is interested.

Earlier, TopNews wrote that Zelensky demanded that the West close entry for all citizens of the Russian Federation.

According to the Ukrainian president, it is necessary to take new measures in relation to Russians.
